The Thomson Smillie Foundation’s Cycle Tour is a triumph on two wheels

After an incredible twelve-day journey covering 2,090 kilometres, a dedicated group of cyclists, including riders sponsored by Sectional Title Solutions (STS), completed the Pont Drift to Cape Town Cycle Tour. Their epic ride concluded at Fish Hoek High School, which aims to raise funds and awareness for the Thomson Smillie Foundation.

The Thomson Smillie Foundation is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged South Africans by providing access to education, job opportunities, and essential human rights. Through the Pont Drift to Cape Town Cycle Tour, the STS Group played a crucial role in supporting this cause. The funds raised during the tour will directly benefit children at Fish Hoek High School, ensuring they receive the secondary education they deserve and contributing to broader community empowerment.

Cyclists embarked on their journey from Pont Drift, averaging 180 kilometers a day, all in support of the Foundation’s education program. This rigorous challenge not only showcased their dedication but also spotlighted the Foundation’s mission. The funds generated will support two children’s secondary education at Fish Hoek High School, marking a significant step toward a brighter future for these young learners.

STS remains committed to fostering sustainable change and making a positive impact across South Africa. Supporting initiatives like the Thomson Smillie Foundation’s cycle tour aligns seamlessly with our vision of driving long-term community development.
